God knew that life is hard and taking that into account He designed us/ wired us to be in relationship – relationship with Him and in relationship with others.  In the past we lived in such environments that were conductive to having those relationships – environments called communities.   Communities where everyone knew almost everything about their neighbors – the good and the bad – the strengths and weaknesses.

But with the changes in our society we have lost our sense of community and with it many people have lost their relationships (both with God, in many cases, and with each other) and lost their chance to be the persons God designed them to be. 

It is our position that we still desperately need such communities if people, as a whole (not the super star who can overcome just about anything) are to be able to thrive.

It is Project H.A.V.E. H.O.P.E.’s purpose to … re-build those relationships … to re-build that sense of community … that then supports a person’s basic healthy personal development (spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially).
